Project projects and more projects!!

I have so many projects going on right now it is ridiculous!! I have been watching a lot of YouTube videos and getting so much inspiration from the talented people out there that I thought I needed to try every thing. I do plan on doing a video on each of the projects once I am finished but as of now they are a work in progress.

I have also been doing some internet "window" shopping and putting things on my wishlist as well.

Here are some pictures of my project in the making the first one is a tutorial I followed on Prima Marketing YouTube of Steffogal1, the second is like a junk album and the third is Bo Bunny word album family.

Gearing up For Project Life.

I had started doing a lot of research on project life back in December. I have now came to the conclusion that Project Life would be a more simple way for me to document all the pictures that I have. I do plan on starting it this year but I plan on do this for 2010 to the present. I don't plan on doing it traditionally either. I am going to do it by events. Such holidays, kids school functions, camping, Summer time, etc. I will be doing layouts for my kids scrapbooks but that will lessen. I am not totally giving up on doing layout or mini albums for that matter. I just need a simpler process to help me to stay on track.

But I have been gathering supplies and I am now just lacking the albums and the page protectors. Here is a look at my Project Life/SMASH book station that I have setup.

This is my secretary desk that is in the corner of my scrap room that is formally meant to be the  dining room. It was a great window view and great natural lighting.

This is the 1st bin on the left side of my desk this holds all my handmade Daybooks, handmade Smash books and the K&Company SMASHbooks.

This is the 2nd thing that you see on my desk also on the left side. It is some of the chipboard alphas that I have. I have no clue who makes them I go them from my mother-in-law.

This is the 3rd bin on my desk and it holds all of the stamps that I plan on using such as clear stamps, alpha stamps, roller date stamps, etc.

And the 4th and 5th bins on my desk (they are stacked) next to my lamp holds  all the embellishments and 6x6 paper pads that I believe I will use for Project Life.

As I get started and into I will keep you updated on how it goes for me! :)

I'm back and refreshed!!

The holidays are now over and all the decorations are put away and life is now back to semi-normal. I have been trying to gather things for project life that I plan on starting this year for the first time and I also plan to do project life style with all my photos from 2010 til the present day. But I will talk about that in a later post.

Today I would like to share a few Valentine's Day cards that I am making for my kids and husband. I thought it would be cute to make then cards this year instead of doing the store bought ones. I think that it is more from the heart when it is handmade then store bought.

The supplies I used are all Studio G from WalMart. I know that other places sell Studio G products but this is where I got mine. :)
The cardstock that I used is from Stampin' Up!

They measure 3x3 and are perfect size to give to your Valentine.

Take a 3x6 piece of cardstock and score it at 3.
