My first mini album

I worked all day yesterday on 2 mini albums but this is my first one ever and the other one is not finished yet. I cannot tell you what paper brand I used because I don't remember and all I remember is that I got it at Hobby Lobby. I used my Cricut (Don Juan) to cut out all of the tags and the designs on the last page. The stamps that I used I bought from a yard sale. I used yarn and fabric to make the ribbon. I used Chestnut Brown and other colors to chalk the edges from EK Success. I hand drew the lines that are on the tags. I hand made all the flowers with the fake kind you can buy at Wal-Mart and brads.I used paper embellishments tht I got in a kit a while back I also cant tell you the name of them either because I dont remember. But here are the pices of the album going from front cover to back cover.
Hope everyone has a great day.

Up and Running again.

I would like to share with everyone a scrapping box that I found at http://imageevent.com/littlecs7/projectofthemonth/srcrapbookinabox I do not take any credit for her idea but I did make may own and I wanted to share it with everyone. I followed her steps and used my Cricut and used the Disney Pooh font Set to decorate it. I then added my own touches by putting in pictures of all four of my kids and then a family picture in the bottom. I decorated the outside ( I can not tell you the name of the paper that I used right off hand)and I used Burnt Sienna and Chestnut Roan Color Box fluid Chalk inkpad for the edges, I also used the extra cards that were left over from making the project and I used the above mentioned inkpads for the edges and then I used a flower stamp (do not know the brand or collection it was given to me)to stamp the corners, I then drew my own journaling lines on the extra cards front and back. She ha it named as the scrapbook in a box, I put on the outside Memory box.I out it all together and the extra cards fit into the box at an angle and the top fits perfect and everything goes together. I gave this box to my mother-in-law as a gift and she loved it. Once again this was not my idea but the lady's idea that is listed above I just personalized it to my effect.

Trying to update.

I know it has been some time since I last updated my blog but I have been very busy. I have just finished my last few classes in school and I am now ready to do my externs. I have also went camping and have celebrated a few birthdays within my household. I am also having issues within my family and that is getting very stressful. Don't worry it's not between my husband and I or with the kid or exs or anything like that. Then my computer stopped wanting to transfer pictures off of my printer which has slots for the SD cards and such so you can print them right off of the card and that is the only way that I can upload pictures to my laptop to share with everyone and organize then so that I can print and scrapbook them later down the road.So that is what I have been doing since the last time I updated my blog here. Next the things that I have started doing this week so far (its only Monday) is making cards, a really cool scrapbook box, and a few pages that I am trying to finish up for the year 2007 and that album will be done soon hopefully. I hope to get several scraping things done this week before my externs because I don't know what to expect and I probably won't have the time to do much. As soon as I can figure out away to put pictures on my computer besides using the cool now broke printer I will post some of the projects that I have been doing. Thanks for looking.
