ATCs (Artist Trading Cards)

I have been working on a few ATCs and this is also a new hobby that I have picked up. I use to draw as a kid and growing up. I had not done it in so long that I decided that I would try my hand one more time. I am really good at making faces so far. I have not ventured out and tried to draw anything else. But I am getting there. Like I said I have not done this in a while I am still practicing. I also made 2 ATCs that are made of clipart, paint and quotes.

I am still trying to finish up other things that I have started and those will come in at later post.

I have also made a challenge for myself since I have 12 unfinished projects this includes scrapbooking and craft. That each day I will finish the smaller almost finished ones and then the bigger ones I will take a few extra days. My goal is that by the end of June I will have all 12 unfinished projects done so that I can move on. Some of these projects include some for the Arts and Crafts Fair in July. Well that is all for today.

Busy, busy with new talent!!

I have been working on lots of things crafty and I thought it was time to share it with you. First I started making hanging signs and here are a few, one is for a friend that I made and I also made one of my mother-in-law which is not shown because I have already gave it to her.

I have also been working on other things that will come in later post. I am so excited because I was offered to join in on the arts and crafts fair that is coming in July. My moms mother-in-law which is my step grandma loved the Thank you card that I made her so much she volunteered me to join the fair.

I have been busy making things for that as well and like I send I will post those in later posts. Well that is all the updates I have for now.

Tags, tags and more tags.

I have been working on some tags just for the fun of it as well as albums for my family so that I can get caught up on them. I have all the pictures printed out up until 2010 and albums are finished up to 2007.

Now for the tags here are some tags that I have been working on. I used my cricut to cut out the tag itself on manilla folders. I used Tim Hiltz alchol inks Butterscotch and Mushroom, blended them together and rubbed them on the front and the back of the tag. I used prima flowers. I used gems and pearls which I colored them the colors that match the tag. I used a butterfly stamp from inkadinkado and prima e-line pearls. The charm is a domino that I also used alchol inks and beads. I used several different fibers for the tag as well. I used a chipboard butterfly and bent it so that it looks dimensional and added antennas. As for the back I used a journaling stamp and then I added my information such as my youtube channel and my blog.

As for the second tag, same thing but I have not added the fibers yet and it is also using alchol inks and prima flowers. The vellum images were given to me and I do not know who they are by. LOL.

Busy, Busy, Busy.

I know it has been awhile since I have updated my blog here but I have been really busy with Girls Scouts. It is cookie season and I have been trying to help my girls out with that. On top of that my husband went out of town for training and I have been taking care of everything here at the house with our 4 kids. Then here recently I have been sick and so have 2 of the 4 kids.

A few projects that I have been working on in my spare time is domino pendants (I will have pictures at a later date, )mini albums (half finished), my stepsons baby album and a box that I altered with a mini in it. I have been doing a lot of supply ordering and I also joined a mini album kit club.

I also just finished college and I got my Assoicates Degree in Medical Transcription. Too actually have the degree in my hand is an experience in itself, it is the best feeling in the world aside from having my children.

Things are starting to slow down so I am hoping to get back on track.
