December Tag!

OK, so as I have been going through things in my scraproom I came across so really cool glitter. The ideas just started reeling in my head. It is that time of year where there is snow and the beautiful holidays. I have seen several blogs and YouTube videos, etc that people make 12 Days of Tags for Christmas, well I'm not making the 12 tags at this point but I did decide to make a tag. I was also looking through my clear stamps and came across several images that I have never used before. I have every color on ink imaginable and I need to use it so taking a few stamps I have never used and the inks I hardly use this is what I came up with:

Front

Back

It is just something simple and pretty. I don't know the name of the stamps that I used but the inks are Real Red form Stampin' Up!, Green from Stampabilites, and Brown from Stampabilities. Various fibers and Stazon Ink in black. I stamped snow flake images as the background and layered 2 layers of a glitter that was large flakes on the bottom half of the tag. I then stamped the other images and cut them out and layered them on top of the glitter.

For the back stamped single snowflakes in various stops for the background. Then I took a say from a DCWV Vellum Quote Stack of Christmas and glued only the edges down with ZIG 2-way glue pen. It worked very well and you don't see the glue under the velum.

I think that the next thing on my list of small things to make is Christmas cards that I am going to hand out.

Well that is all for today! Have a great day and Thanks for stopping by!!!!

I'M ON A ROLL!!!

I have finally finished up my scrapbooking room and my mojo was lost somewhere within there. I am on such a roll that I have now finish 3 things that I have had half finished for some time now.

One being the Daybook that I posted on here (still no pics but its done), and then I finished up 2 mini albums, one that was a tutorial from Kathy Orta on Youtube. Here is a photo of the one I followed with Kathy Orta a while back.

And here is the other one that I finsihed. I will do a Youtube video flip through on this one soon.
I took these with my webcam sorry the quality of them are not that great.

I still have about 3 or 3 left to finish and that will be all of my unfinished projects and then I can start doing more layouts. I have though about doing videos from start to finish with layouts but I am also focusing on one thing at a time.

So that is all I have to share today, Hope everyone has a great Friday and a wonderful weekend!!!

If You Were A Camera Charger Where Would You Be......

I have been searching high and low for my Sony camera changer. It is my favorite camera to use for videos and taking pictures. I have a Kodak camera that I use only for when I forget my good camera and it stays in my purse. But it makes videos look really yellow. So in my latest Youtube video I had to talk really fast and flip through my Handmade Daybook quickly. So if you have and questions on that please message me on here or on Youtube.

It is very frustrating so I may have to start using my webcam to record videos until I find my charger!

So here is some photos of the Handmade Daybook with some embellishments in it. I might do another video when I get it filled with my pictures.

My First Handmade Daybook!

Today I finally finished a Handmade Daybook that I have been working on for a while now. It is just the base but its finished, now it needs the pictures and the embellishments. I am thinking of using it for a camping trip that we took either this year or last years.

You can buy pre-made Daybooks that are made by Amy Tangerine  or you can make your own.

Here is the front of the book.
The cover is acetate and I stamped it with StazOn ink in Jet Black and one of my cling stamps.

The book is made out of random scraps of paper that I had laying around and several different corner punches on every other page.

The back cover is also acetate and stamped with Stazon Ink in Jet Black.

I am now going to go and embellish it and hopefully have it finished for tomorrow so that I can post pictures. Cleaning up my scraproom  has inspired me to scrapbook again. I think my mojo was lost in my messy scrapbooking room and I have now found it again now that I have cleaned and sorted and got rid of things.

(Check my Youtube for an up coming video of a sneek peek on the inside of this Daybook and for the final project completed).

Sneek Peek!!!

Here is a sneek peek of what I have  been working on. It is a December Daily Lapbook. I followed Kathy Ortas Tutorials on Youtube (there is 7 in all, check here to check the 1st one out!!). I am in no way taking credit of this, this was idea I just followed along and made my own using her directions and a different paper line and embellishments.

I had a lot of fun making this album and this will be my first year doing the December Daily. It is where you document everyday with pictures and journal from December 1-25. I will make a video of the flip through and post it on my Youtube channel HERE.

I have to finish my scrapbooking room today but I do say that since I have cleaned, sorted and got rid of things I have now found my mojo again. It was somewhere in the mess and I found it.

Here is a couple of pictures of the final clean up.

This is a picture of the mess that I still have to clean up. You can't see it in the pictures above becasue its hidden by the stuff in the middle of the room hehehe.
Its still a little cluttered but it is functional. I have plans on re-organizing in the near future and buying some new storage. Out with the brown dresser and cabinet and in with something new.

How you all enjoyed today's post and Thanks for stopping by!!
